Muskan Nagpal (she/her) is a writer and audio producer based in New York City. She completed her MFA in Literary Reportage from New York University with a focus on long-form writing and narrative audio. 
Muskan worked as a Researcher with Wait, What Productions and at Prologue Projects for the co-creators of the podcast Slow Burn. She also worked as an intern on The Brian Lehrer Show at WNYC. Prior to this, she assisted Gregory Warner, host of Rough Translation

Originally from a small town in India, Muskan spent many years of her life in New Delhi. She started her career as an intern at The Partition Museum, where she recorded oral history narratives.  Later, she went on to work at Platform Magazine - a leading arts & culture magazine in India. Her more serious journalistic endeavours began at The Wire.in and The Mojo Story  - leading new-age digital newsrooms based in India. She reported on cities, protests, crime, economy, gender and the environment.
